With profound heartbreak, we remember and celebrate Andrew Peter Ozon, who departed this world on June 20, 2026, just two days shy of his thirty-second birthday. Born on June 22, 1994, Andrew brought exuberance, warmth, and unforgettable joy to every day he graced.

Andrew’s story is one of resilience, loyalty, and transformation. Those who knew him admired his keen intellect and photographic memory. But it was his immense heart that truly set him apart. Andrew loved with a depth and sincerity that touched everyone in his life. Loyal and generous to a fault, he would offer the shirt off his back or buy a meal for anyone in need, often without a word—just the gentle strength of caring evident in his actions.

Family was the heartbeat of Andrew’s world. He is survived by his father, Eugenio Puzo, and stepmother, Dorothy Puzo; his mother, Lisa Ozon, and stepfather, Adam Goosney, his extended step parents Robert Singh and Tara Benoit; as well as his cherished grandparents, Terry and Louise Chaulk. He will forever be remembered by his siblings, Cassandra (Nathanael), Rebecka (Dustin), Kristen, and Siera (Jonathan), Domenic, Landyn and his stepsiblings. Andrew’s presence also brought laughter and love to countless nieces and nephews, whose lives he enriched as an extraordinary uncle.

Andrew’s loss is also felt deeply by the loving memory of those who passed before him: his grandfathers, Gino Sabato, Westley Breedon, and Robert Goosney; and his grandmothers, Yolanda Puzo, Jean Breedon, and Hulda Goosney. Their love and guidance shaped the compassionate man Andrew became.

Music was a lifelong love, spanning genres from the 1950’s right through to the present. He could listen to anything and lose himself in the rhythm, lyrics, and memories attached to each song. Nothing illuminated his competitive side quite like a game of Disney Scene It. His remarkable knowledge, especially when it came to all things Disney, made family game nights legendary. Even when united against him, his family rarely stood a chance—Andrew’s expertise and enthusiasm were unstoppable and endlessly entertaining.

He shared in the thrill of sports, never missing a chance to cheer for his favorite teams. As he moved through life’s challenges, Andrew found solace and purpose in faith; his journey from hardship led him to discover God, forging a sustaining bond with Jesus that transformed and uplifted his entire world. This faith was both a comfort and a beacon, guiding Andrew toward brighter days and building hope wherever he walked.

Friendship was another precious gift Andrew gave freely. He formed countless connections and built a chosen family from friends near and far. Andrew had a unique knack for lighting up a room with a single smile or laugh, making ordinary moments unforgettable with a joke or a thoughtful story. His sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to make anyone’s stomach hurt from laughter were among his most beloved traits.

When he visited his family, Andrew always made sure to put in a special order for their favourite foods, especially everyone’s favourite baked goods; snowballs, cookies, and eggnog. These rituals and traditions are woven into the tapestry of the family’s memories, a testament to the small joys and shared moments that filled Andrew’s life.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Innisfil Funeral Home, located at 7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil, Ontario. Following the visitation, family and friends will gather for a funeral service at the same location from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., where Andrew’s life will be honored, and the immense love he gave and received will be celebrated.

Though our hearts ache with the loss of Andrew Peter Ozon, we are grateful for the immeasurable love, laughter, and light that he brought to our lives. His legacy endures in the memories we share, the kindness he showed, and the faith and hope he inspired in all who knew him.
