Clifford Lalonde

Died peacefully at home in his sleep on Thursday August 13, 2026, after a long battle with COPD. Cliff will be sadly missed by Ann Cowie, his Partner in Life of 39 years. Loved by his sisters – Marlene Casselman (Gerald) from Iroquois, ON and Brenda Delorme (Glenn) from St. Andrews, ON. He will be forever cherished by many of his nieces and nephews and extended families. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Annie Lalonde (Cornwall, ON)

Cliff loved music and moved from his hometown of Cornwall, ON during his teenage years to pursue his first love of playing drums with many bands in the Toronto, Queen Street Area as well as York Region before COPD started to change his lifestyle. He worked in the Newmarket area as a security officer for 15 years before retiring. Cliff was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion from 1992 until present.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 30th from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil) for a Celebration of Life, where fond memories and stories of Cliff can be shared.
