Donald Murray Collins

Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Sunday, August 24th, 2025, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Diane Collins (nee Greig). Cherished father of Leigh Ann Warren (Terry), and the late Shari Lynn Dressler. Much loved grandfather of Michael McNeil (Kim), Nicole McNeil, Justin Warren (Kayla), and Samantha Warren. Great-grandfather of Liam McNeil. Brother of Muriel Wells (Dale), Jean Van Scheyndel (the late Larry), the late Bruce Collins (the late Lucille), and the late Ross Collins (Ruby).

Born in Aurora, Ontario, June 7th, 1939, Don spent an impressive 41 years working for Boeing, his career was not just a job; it was a testament to his passion. In 1961, Don married Diane. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with adventure and joy. They cherished their time camping, often retreating to their beloved trailer at Pigeon Lake. Don was truly all about family. After retiring, he embraced his role as a grandfather, dedicating his time to caring for his grandchildren. Don was an avid woodworker, crafting custom items that brought joy to his family, especially to Diane, who would lovingly paint each piece.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held at Innisfil Funeral Home on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, from 12:00p.m. – 1:00p.m. Memorial Service at 1:00p.m. and a reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Don to RVH foundation.
