MacDONALD, Douglas Hugh - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Monday, February 18th, 2019 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (nee Elliott). Loving father of Dana (Darryl) MacDonald-Berdan and Scott (Krista) MacDonald. Dear grandfather of Deven Bowes, Chloe Bowes, Keefer MacDonald-Berdan, Kaedon Nixon-MacDonald, Joshua Nixon-MacDonald, Ava Nixon-MacDonald, Matias Nixon-MacDonald, Mya MacDonald, Charleigh Sandercock and Kaiden Sandercock. Survived by siblings Lois (Robert) Marshall, Barry (Marilyn) MacDonald and Ross (Bonnie) MacDonald. Son of Florence MacDonald and the late Lyle.He will be lovingly remembered by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends across the country and beyond. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge St, Stroud) on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
