Eileen Masters (nee Bodrug)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen Masters on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, in Sault Ste. Marie at the age of 69. Cherished mother of Ashley (Luke), Jaime (Darryl), Colby (Sade), and Caycee (Matthew). Loving grandmother "Basha" of Colton, Callie, Bailey, Barrett, and Anastasia. Sister of Ron (Christine), Ken (Debbie), and Bill (Linda) Bodrug. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Eileen Bodrug.

Eileen grew up in Toronto, ON, and had a taste for travel and adventure. Whether she was skiing down snowy slopes, basking on sunlit beaches, embarking on cruises with friends, or exploring new places with her daughter Caycee, she embraced every journey with a spirit of wonder and curiosity.

Eileen will be remembered for her esteemed career as a registered nurse, specializing in labour and delivery with Mount Sinai hospital. Following some time teaching through a local college, she worked as a client care coordinator supporting the community, where she formed life lifelong friendships. Her experience made her an invaluable part of the birth of each of her grandchildren.

Eileen will also be remembered for her contagious laugh and her remarkable ability to tell a story, bringing joy and warmth to every gathering. She was the keeper of family history, ensuring that the memories and traditions were always cherished and passed down. Eileen had a unique gift for instantly connecting with anyone she met, making everyone feel important and valued. Her deep care and unwavering love for her family were evident to anyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all.
