Elizabeth Ann Osmond (née Everett)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ann Osmond (née Everett), beloved wife of Martin Osmond and deeply loved mother of Tiffany Osmond.

Elizabeth and Martin married on December 4, 1971, beginning a marriage that would span more than 54 years. Together they built a life and a family, with their daughter, Tiffany, at its centre.

Elizabeth was sister to Russell Stroud, Donald, Gordon, Raymond, Murray, Wayne, William “Bill,” and her twin brother, Douglas Everett.

Elizabeth shared an especially close bond with Bill. They were kindred spirits, and their relationship held a special place in her heart.

Elizabeth was kind, incredibly generous, famously organized and a caregiver through and through. Elizabeth cared for those she loved in practical, unwavering ways. When one of her people needed her, she showed up.

No one knew that devotion more than her daughter, Tiffany. Elizabeth was immensely proud of the woman her daughter became—of her independence, her accomplishments, her work, her travels and the life she built for herself. She was Tiffany’s fiercest champion, always firmly in her corner and endlessly proud of her.

Her capacity for care extended well beyond people. Elizabeth had a lifelong love of animals. That love led her, for a time, to work as a veterinary assistant and later in grooming. Over the years, she welcomed many animals into her life, giving them exceptionally loving homes and generously supporting animal rescues and shelters.

The Beach Boys held a particularly special place in Elizabeth’s story. Their music offered her an escape from an early age and became the soundtrack from her teenage years through much of her adult life.

Elizabeth’s Christian faith was personal and quietly held, a guiding star she carried in her heart throughout her life.

Above all, Elizabeth loved by caring. She gave her time, her generosity, her protection and herself to the people and animals fortunate enough to be loved by her.

She will be deeply missed by Martin and Tiffany, and by all those whose lives were made better because Elizabeth showed up for them.

Friends and family are invited to the Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil) on Friday, August 28, 2026 for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow starting at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to stay afterwards for a reception, where light refreshments will be served and fond memories of Elizabeth can be shared. Elizabeth will be laid to rest on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Elmvale Presbyterian Cemetery (94 Queen St E, Elmvale).

In keeping with Elizabeth’s lifelong love and advocacy for animals, donations in her memory may be made to the Alliston and District Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
