It is with broken hearts we announce the tragic passing of Emmilee Irene Collins, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the young age of 29. Emmilee was a devoted mother, and is survived by her cherished daughter, Aubree; who is beautiful and strong like her mother. Treasured daughter of Tracy (Wade) Kyle and Jim Craft. Adored sister of Alicia (Shane), and Chelsey. Special aunt to Maeve. Loving stepsister of Tanith and Leland. Emilee will be greatly missed by Uncle Chris (Bridgette), and her cousins; Brianna and Brayden. Dearly loved granddaughter of the late Eric (Suzanne) Collins.
Emmilee’s greatest blessing in life was her daughter, Aubree. From the moment Aubree came into her life, she was always her first priority. Emmilee loved her daughter more than anything in this world, and the bond they shared was one that could be seen and felt by everyone around them. She was determined to create a good, stable life and a bright future for Aubree, and no matter what life brought their way, she remained devoted to her daughter through thick and thin. A mother’s love is a bond that cannot be broken, and Emmilee’s love for Aubree was truly unwavering.
Family was incredibly important to Emmilee. She cherished family gatherings and never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or other special day. She also held her friendships close to her heart, and those who knew her knew how much her friends meant to her. Emmilee was strong-willed, determined, and had a sassy spirit that made her uniquely herself. She had a strong desire to succeed and worked hard to build a secure and happy life for herself and Aubree.
Emmilee was beautiful inside and out, with a caring heart, a gentle nature, and a quiet, soft-spoken voice. She had a sweet and sometimes playful sense of humour that could bring a smile to those around her. She loved the outdoors and especially treasured her time at the family fishing camp in Temagami. She loved camping, hiking, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. From the time she was a little girl, Emmilee never hesitated to get her feet dirty, put a worm on a hook, or embrace the adventures that came with being outdoors. At the same time, she loved her feminine side—doing her hair and makeup, getting dressed up, and taking the time to make herself feel beautiful.
Above all, Emmilee will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, a cherished daughter, a treasured sister, a loyal friend, and a beautiful soul whose love for Aubree and her family will remain forever.
There will be a Memorial Service held at Innisfil Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17th, at 1:00p.m. with visitation from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. with reception following the Service.
