FARQUHARSON, Evelyn Helen (Johnston) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ev on November 15, 2017 in her 68th year, after an ongoing courageous battle against cancer. Ev will be greatly missed by her husband of 48 years, Dave. Loving Mom to Lori (Joel) Wright, Kelly (Warren) Gibson and stepdaughter Kim (Jon) Dunn. Proud Nana to Ava, Emerson, and Ryleigh. Proud Grandmother to Alex and Braydon. Daughter of the late Helen and James Johnston. Beloved sister to Robert (deceased), Russell (deceased), Jerry (Jill) and Jude. Ev will also be greatly missed by other loving relatives, and many great friends. She touched the lives of many during her decades of service at the Simcoe County District School Board. A Celebration of Ev's life will be held at Innisbrook Golf Club 211 Lockhart Rd., Barrie on Sunday, December 3rd from 1-4 p.m.
