Georgina "Jordy" Ritchie

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Georgina "Jordy" Ritchie on May 10, 2026, at the age of 72.

Jordy was the beloved and devoted wife of Michael Ritchie, and a loving and proud mother to Robert (Cyndy). She was a cherished Granny to Natalie, Madison, and Rylee, and a treasured Great-Granny to little Lilly, who all brought her endless joy.

Jordy shared a special bond with her family and will be deeply missed by her sister Chris (Gary) and brother Bob (Josephine). Predeceased by her sister Marilyn (Jack) and her brother Bruce (Rose), whom she held close in her heart. Jordy's love extended far beyond her immediate family to her many nieces and nephews, as well as to her neighbours and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness.

Jordy's greatest joy in life was her family, and she took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive. She also had a deep love for baseball, especially cheering on her beloved Toronto Blue Jays passion that brought her excitement, connection, and many shared memories with those she loved. That love for the game will live on in the hearts of her family.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, in the stories shared, and in the love she gave so freely.

She will be forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
