Gwen Lennox (Halbert)

Gwen Lennox (Halbert) passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, in Barrie at the age of 93.

Gwen is now reunited with her loving husband, Jack, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. She will be greatly missed by her children; Don (Shirley), Kevin (the late Cindy), and the late Scott (Donna), her beloved grandchildren; David and Cindy, as well as her 3 cherished great-grandchildren.

In addition to her family, Gwen had a profound passion for gardening, a hobby that blossomed into a remarkable achievement when she won the City of Barrie Gardening Award in 1984 for her flower garden. Her love for nature and beauty was reflected in every petal and leaf she tended to.

A private family service will be held in the springtime to honor her life and legacy. Gwen Lennox leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and an enduring spirit that will be deeply missed by her family members and friends.
