BIRD, Helen Irene – Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, on Monday, October 27, 2025, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late George Edward (Ted) Bird. Loving step mother of Michael (Susan) of Mount Albert, Linda Bird of Toronto, and Debra Bird of Chilliwack, BC. Dear grandmother of Lori (Chris), Julia (Matt), Jason (Keeley) and Joshua (Angie). Special GG to Christian, Madison, Abbey, Lauren, Athena, Ava, Shylo, Yeshua and Gianna. Predeceased by her brother Bill Taylor and sisters Ann White and Elizabeth Taylor.

Helen will be missed by her nieces Allison White (Adam), Melissa Burden (Jamie) and nephews David White (Claudine), Paul White, Kevin White (Tammy), Scott Taylor and their families. Her many friends at Sandy Cove will miss her kind nature and cheerful personality.

Friends may call at the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St. (Stroud), on Wednesday, November 5. Visitation to take place from 10am until 11am followed by a memorial service and reception.

Interment of ashes to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Margaret Bahen Hospice, Southlake Regional Health Centre or the Heart and Stroke Society.
