Hendrik peacefully passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday Jan 3, 2026 in his 99th year

Proud grandpa of Henk (Louise) Steyn, Sarel (Heike) Steyn, Sane (Gert) Dippenaar), Renee (Aaron) Strauch, Hannes Jr (Kim) Cilliers, Cornelius (Nina) Cilliers, Henre (Krysta) Steyn, Alma Steyn, Renette (Nelson) Morela, Willem Steyn (May 4, 2024), Conrad (Amanda) Steyn.

Cherished great grandpa of Morne, Anja, Torben, Judson, Henry, John, Nathan, Anna, Anna, Claire, Daniel, Jane, Nelia and Myla

Hendrik will also be fondly remembered by extended family and many friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil (Stroud). A Funeral Service will be held at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 101 Ardagh Rd, Barrie, on Tuesday, January 6 at 11:00am, with a reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will take place at 1:30pm. Hendrik will be rest with Renee at the Innisvale Cemetery, 7551 5th Sideroad, Innisfil.
