My wonderful husband Hugh Kilvert passed away peacefully at home after being surrounded by family and friends. He slipped away with me by his side on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, at the age of 70.

Hugh Kilvert was a talented musician and businessman. He was a kind and loving husband to Marion, and Father to Patrick and Stacey Kilvert, Christopher Cassidy, Jeff Cassidy, Harry Nye, Jamie Nye, Zeke Nye. Grandfather to Zavier, Zolan, and Zarah, Kristina, Nova, Mary Jane, Hannah, Mitchell, Kathleen, Harrison, Je Young, who all called him Poppy. He was a keen outdoorsman and loved canoeing, hiking, and camping in the motorhome. He shared these activities with family and friends. He also shared his great musical talent as a guitar player, composer, and arranger. His latest Rock n Roll Band was “Smokey Monaghan” And also, a duet called Hugh & Marion. Memorial Service to be held at Churchill United Church  (6306 Yonge St, Innisfil) at 4:00p.m. on Monday, June 29th, 2026.
