Jan Slik, Sr.

It is with sad and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest father and opa, Jan Slik, Sr. He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday surrounded by his family. He is now reunited with the “love of his life” Dorothy Smith (2013) where they will now continue their journey of eternal love. He will be missed by his children Connie (Bruce) Deveau, Cornell (Natalia) Slik, Annette Slik, Albert Slik, Jan Jr. (Linda) Slik, David Slik (Jayne 2020), John Van Bodegom and Deanne Van Bodegom. Cherished opa to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jan was a brother to Grace Slikboer (2014), Cornelis Slik (2012), Kay Feddes, Louise Algra (1998) and Rudy Slik. He lived a full life and appreciated every moment. He enjoyed spending time cleaning the streets of Innisfil Beach Road and was a big help to his community.
