March 4, 1960 - October 5, 2026, Ken Crogie of Innisfil ON passed away peacefully at RVH on Monday October 5, 2026. Ken was a loving husband, brother and uncle.
Ken was born to Eldon and Grace in Kingston ON and lived his childhood on the various Army bases in Ontario. After he left home he travelled to Calgary where he worked for a number of years before returning to Ontario. Ken got his truck driving license in 1998 and continued in that career until 2019.
Outside of work Ken was a friend of Bill & Bob for 38 years. He was involved in service work in the AA community for over 30 years because he believed deeply in the program and worked for his recovery by always being ready to help anyone who wanted to enter the program and have a different life. Ken met Barb through AA/AlAnon and the rest was history for 33 years.
He was the most friendly, fun loving, outgoing (and at times outrageous) person you could ever encounter. Ken was loving, loyal, compassionate and empathetic to everyone he met. He would talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime so that we had people always coming to the house just to spend time with him. He was a true extravert.
Ken is survived by his wife Barbara, his sisters Maxine and Beth (Steve) and brother Larry, his nieces Heather and Veronica; nephews Derek and Joe and numerous cousins and in-laws.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 13th, from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. with a Service to follow at 1:00p.m. Burial o follow at Sixth Line Cemetery.
