Lillian Cooper kissed her loving husband Dave goodbye, shut the front door and unexpectedly left us all behind. One final kiss is a fitting send-off for a love story of a couple who recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Lillian went peacefully. She had been ill for several years and her little body just wore out.
Lillian Frances Cooper (nee Corrigall) was born on September 4, 1945 and died June 9, 2025. To those of us who knew and loved her, her time here meant so much more.
We grieve with Dave and do our best to honour Lil’s memory and reflect on the love and joyful memories she gave us. She was a loving mother to Jeannine (Trevor) and Jennifer (Kevin). Nanny/Grandma to Emma, Matthew, and Nicholas, sister-in-law to Michael (Elaine), aunt to Heath and Caren and friend to many.
We don’t know where Lil’s journey has taken her. While she saves a seat for us, we hope she has a comfortable spot, where she’ll be warm and able to hear clearly, as she observes all the interesting souls around her.
Dave doesn’t need flowers, just warm wishes. If you’d like to make a contribution in honour of Lillian, please donate to the Red Cross or RVH Dialysis. We are so thankful for the excellent care and comfort they provided Lillian in her final years.
