With family by her side, Mara passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday October 8, 2022, at the age of 84. Mara was born November 2, 1937, in Udine, Italy. She moved to England in 1956, where she met her husband David in 1958. They were married that same year, had 3 beautiful girls and then in 1974 they moved as a family to Canada. Mara was a loving wife to her husband David of 63 years, and a loving mother to Marina (Graham), Jacqueline (Ray) and Gabriella (Rob). She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mara was very artistic and loved her garden as well as knitting, sewing, puzzles, 10 pin bowling, golf and she loved meeting people.

A private family graveside funeral took place October 13, 2022, at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Innisfil. A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday November 13th, from 12:30-3:30pm at Stroud Banquet Hall, 7883 Yonge St. Innisfil. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Mara will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
