Surrounded by the love of her family, Nuala Bernadette Evans passed away at home on May 4, 2026, in her 63rd year.
Beloved wife of Tom, together for 42 wonderful years, she was a colourful and loving mother to Amelia Kathleen, Duncan William, and Griffin Daniel (Caroline). She will be deeply missed by her siblings Nora (Jim), Phillip, and Michael (Lori), as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family across the world—especially her cherished Irish clan.
Nuala built a beautiful life rooted in family, creativity, and connection. She spent her early years in Aurora and King City before meeting Tom and settling down to raise their family in Innisfil. A dedicated homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm, welcoming home and took great pride in hosting gatherings. She found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments—quilting, cooking, hosting friends and family, and spending time by the ocean. Whether it was a shared meal or a handmade gift, she had a way of making people feel cared for and at home.
Her true passion was quilting. An incredibly talented quilter, she became an active member of several local quilting groups, where she formed lasting friendships and shared her knowledge with others. Whether teaching, designing, or running her longarm machine, she found joy and purpose in every piece she created.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Shannon for her outstanding care and support during such a difficult time.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nuala’s life on Saturday, May 9 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil. Cremation has taken place.
