Rita Aguatte Bloye

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rita Aguatte Bloye (nee Savage) who left us peacefully, surrounded by a room full of love, on Sunday September 14, 2025 at Royal Victoria Hospital in her 64th year. 

Beloved wife of John “Terry” Bloye for a wonderful 38 years. Devoted Mother to Christine, April (Eric), Jordan. Loving Grandmother to Colton, Rylan, and Kensley. Rita was fortunate to have a very large family with many special sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews she loved dearly. 

Rita Grew up in Sturgeon Falls and moved to Mississauga where she met her beloved Terry. They married and settled in their home in Angus 36 years ago to raise their family. 

Rita had a love of flowers and gardening and worked many years on potato farms. She was very dedicated and loved her coworkers and her job with a passion. She also got much joy from spending time with family and camping every summer. Rita, although quiet, was so tough and had an incredible sense of humour. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge Street, Stroud. Cremation to take place. Family and friends are invited for a Memorial Service at the funeral home on Friday, September 19. Visitation is from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Service from 11am-12pm, All are welcome to follow to the interment at Sixth Line Cemetery, 6800 Yonge St, Innisfil at 12pm. Following the Interment we will return to Innisfil Funeral home where refreshments and food will be served.
