Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on June 7, 2020, at the age of 86.  He was born to Isabella and Robert Bailey on May 13, 1934 in Rothesay, Island of Bute, Scotland.  Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jean and his three children Laurence, Jeanette (Scott Black), Robin (Carol Ann Kabat) and his three beloved grandchildren - James, Meaghan (Duston Sedore) and Michael.  Dear brother to Nan Hatfield (Toronto) and Moira Bailey (England).  Dear uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews around the world.  Robert and his family lived in Glasgow where at the age of 10 he began attending Queen Victoria Boys School, Dunblaine Scotland. Robert served with the Royal Sussex Regiment from 1950 - 1960.  Robert enjoyed a 37 year successful career with London Life.  He was actively involved in the Masonic Lodge working his way to become Master of Lakeshore Lodge #645, 1993 - 1994.  Robert loved to travel where he and Jean enjoyed cruising to many destinations around the world.  He was loved and respected and will be greatly missed by many.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life for Robert will be held at a later date.  Words of comfort many be forwarded to the family by visiting
