Vena Kathleen Poole

POOLE, Vena Kathleen – On Thursday, April 5th, 2018 after a brief illness, Vena Kathleen Poole of Innisfil, Ontario, entered into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Rev. Arthur Ronald Poole. Beloved stepmother of Tim Poole (Heidi) of Barrie, and Lianna Dash of British Columbia. Cherished “Gran’ma” of Spencer, Tyler, Hunter, Liam, Richard and Elizabeth. Born in Woolwich, England, Vena was the bookkeeper of the Salvation Army Adult Resource Centre in Sault Ste. Marie until her retirement. She settled in Sandy Cove where she went on to become a published author of several books including the Christian Fiction series Fragrance of Lavender. A Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel at 151 Lillian Crescent in Barrie, Ontario, on Monday the 9th of April at 12 noon with visitation starting from 11:00a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
